Biography:

Cindy Moon, also known as Silk, is a Korean-American superheroine in Marvel Comics.

She was bitten by the same radioactive spider that granted Peter Parker his abilities. However, Ezekiel Sims, aware of the spider's power, took Cindy into hiding to protect her from Morlun and the Inheritors, who hunt spider-totems. She spent years in a bunker, honing her powers.

Silk was first introduced in *The Amazing Spider-Man* Vol. 3 #1 (April 2014).

After being freed by Spider-Man, Silk begins her own superhero career, often partnering with and sometimes clashing with Peter Parker. Her powers are similar to Spider-Man's, but her spider-sense is even stronger, and she possesses organic webbing.
